Spike Thoughts: The big theme of my month was "How can I make a lot of game quickly??!?!".  Game making is very fun, but I feel I am too slow at making stuff. But I didn't want to compromise my vision and change my dream game, so I've been hard at work on way of improving my process! Therefore I started a large experiment this month that I'm happy to say it was a HUGE success! With my new editor tools its now waaaaaaay faster to make and implement story and gameplay into the game. It still needs to be expanded, but even with this first version I feel like the builds are only going to get bigger and bigger! Please let me know if you like this new version! It has a LOT of small improvements here and there.

We're SO close to being able to put BIG updates every single month... I can't freaking wait!!

Donna Thoughts: One of my biggest goals this year is to finish things, and you have to make a pipeline to make that happen. So this update I focused my energy on getting the environment more fleshed out and adding character art to all story beats! Man, it's starting to feel like a real world with monsters living in it!!! The placeholders are important because that will help me figure out how much art is needed for the game going forward, and where we need to design smartly. I feel like we are getting closer and closer to making this first zone a reality. I'm very happy with how the first room looks, and can't wait to continue improving and adding more art!
